For the letter "O" we got to make an ocean! We started with a big bowl of water and then dumped in some sand.
Next came the shells.
Then we added some salt and some ocean animals
Then we had our complete ocean, entertainment for hours, and a big mess, but sometimes learning can be that way and it is a wonderful thing!
We read about otters and learned how God made them special.
Then we read "Leap Hops, Pops, and Mops" and tried to recognize the short "o" sound.
How exciting it is to learn about all the wonderful things God lays before us. Next, we learn about the letter P, penguins, and pigs, and ponds, and peanuts, O My!
